SAN FRANCISCO 49ers vs. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES and CINCINNATI BENGALS vs. KC CHIEFS

Vegas thinks both of these games will be close. The Eagles are favored by 2 1/2 points over the surging SF 49ers. The Chiefs are 1 point favorites over the Bengals. All four teams are talented, any of them could win. Who do you think will be going to the Super Bowl?

I think the Eagles beat the 49ers, but I think the Bengals-Chiefs is a toss-up and will be very close, no matter which team wins. Of course, LSU’s own Joe Burrow is a favorite in our house, and I’d love to see the Bengals make a return trip to the Super Bowl, but I think a lot depends on how Patrick Mahomes plays today—especially if he’s still being troubled by the ankle he sprained in last week’s game.

Deb, I’m with you. A lot depends on Mahomes’s ankle. Can he move? Or can the Bengals’s pass rush keep Mahomes in the pocket. Although I think a rookie QB winning the Championship game would be a fabulous story, the Eagles defense will have Other Ideas.

    Super Bowl XVI January 24, 1982 – San Francisco 49ers 26, Cincinnati Bengals 21
    Super Bowl XX!!! January 22, 1989 – San Francisco 20, Cincinnati 16

I am hoping they get a third chance at each other, 30+ years later. But the Eagles look very good at the moment, so it will be tough for the 49ers to win today. I do think the Bengals have a better chance against Kansas City.

Hoping for a win for the niners and chiefs. Then super bowl will be good for me as I like both teams

lately, have been watching more women’s basketball and men’s and women’s soccer. Even went to a home game for the SDSU women’s basketball.

I’ve also doubled my MLB attendance (lifetime) by going to 2 padres games this year. the previous one was in the 70’s when the Beach Boys played.

Maggie, The Beach Boys (or what’s left of them) show up here around the 4th of July to perform after a AAA Baseball game. It’s always a sell-out!

Sorry, Maggie, but I hope the 49ers lose! I used to be a fan in the Joe Montana-Steve Young years, but after the way they pampered Krapernik they lost my support!
So, go Eagles! But I’d prefer to see the Bengals go all the way even though I like the Chiefs!

Bob, you got your wish: the 49ers crashed and burned. The Bengals played a great game against the Chiefs, but that dumb hit on Mahomes cost them the game.

I’m understandably happy that the Chiefs won, and I was pulling for the Eagles, though I think the Chiefs would have had a better chance against the Niners in a rematch. I think the Chiefs have their work cut out for them in two weeks, but I’m happy to see them back in the Super Bowl.

Wolf, now that Sports Betting is legal in much of the U.S. forecasters predict over a BILLON dollars will be wagered on the Super Bowl.
