Just a heads-up for you Star Wars fans: the 10-episode series,Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on April 6, 2026, with two episodes being released each week until May 4.
As you might remember, Maul is a former Sith lord from the planet Dathomir who is trying to find his place following the end of the Clone Wars. You can expect a lot of action and cunning from this new Star Wars saga.
I’ve missed so many Star Wars incarnations it’s not funny! Since I don’t get Disney, I’ll miss this one, too!
Bob, Disney+ controls most of the Star Wars series right now. I’m looking forward to The Mandalorian & Grogu movie that opens on May 22, 2026.
I think it was THE CLONE WARS where I gave up on the franchise, although my path had been set with the excretable RETURN OF THE JEDI. Unlike me, George, you have been following the franchise these many years, proving that either A) you have far more refined taste than I, or B) your stomach is much stronger than mine.
Jerry, my stomach is legendary. A former girl friend once told me: “You could eat a rock!”
i’m waiting for Wayne and Garth’s Mall, where it’s Party Time and Excellent….more a Peacock thing, I suspect.
Todd, we have Peacock, too. But, there’s not much there of interest right now…
Do you suppose there’s any fan obsessed enough to have watched all the movies and TV shows and read all the comic books and novels?
Fred, the answer is “Yes!” I know a couple of STAR WARS Super Fans who have consumed all the movies, all the TV series, and all the STAR WARS books/graphic novels/comics!
I’m not current with Star wars movies, but I saw an ad for
The Sheep detectives that had me laughing all the way through it. I can’t wait to see it in the theater & hope they’ll have a DVD of it available
Maggie, did the box of audio books arrive yet?
I just got back from the post office and they weren’t there. But I’ll check tomorrow. Larry’s playing in a senior softball tournament this week and he has 2 from the previous box to listen to on the drive to and from Vegas.
I’m dog sitting for Blondie the shoenapper & in dog heaven
Maggie, trust me: Larry will love what’s in that box I sent you!
The Clay-mation-looking animation property? I might well look to that ahead of anything but the most sterling-sourced SW-spawn (I wasn’t too impressed by either of the first two films, and haven’t made much effort since).
