STATE OF THE BLOG 2014

sexy winter picture

Once again, I want to thank you for your role in making this blog what it is today. I appreciate your insightful comments, humor, and knowledge. I appreciate Patti, Jeff, Deb, Rick, Beth, Todd, Art, Bill, Bob, Prashant, Sergio, Carl, Lauren, Steve, Jerry, Stan, Dan, Kelly, Scott, Jim, John, and all of you who make this blog part of your day. Cicero once wrote: “Gratitude is not only the greatest of the virtues but the parent of all others.” Or as Elvis said: “Thank you, thank you very much.”

I never miss a day–even when I don’t comment. I appreciate breadth of subject matter you cover: everything from new movies to old science fiction to your children’s endeavors to advances in diabetes treatment to the NFL to best-sellers and everything in between. I also appreciate that you don’t mind if I occasionally get up on my soapbox in the Comments section. Thanks for a great blog, George!

What Deb and Prashant said goes here too. Every day is different and where else do you get reviews of those books no one else seems to read? It’s one of the four blogs I have on the toolbar for easy access.

(And today’s picture is not bad either!)

Jeff, I appreciate your comments and humor. I make an attempt to bring somewhat obscure books, movies, and music CDs to everyone’s attention.

Why, thank you, George…and I appreciate one of your best selections of cheesecake photography accompanying the name-checking post. I’m always glad to see a post or comment from you.

I’m finally up on the Left Coast and weighing in to say that no, it’s you who should be getting the thanks, for making a blog it’s always fun to visit, as I do every day. Good job, Mr. K.

Thank you, Dr. Kelley! Although I only comment occasionally, I read every post (even if it is a few days later). This has really been a nice way to keep in contact! By the way, can you believe that it has been 5 years since I signed up for your Marketing class?

Jerry, thank you your kind comments. I try to mix things up so the postings aren’t too predictable. And thank you for being part of this endeavor!
