TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS VS. BUFFALO BILLS

After last week’s 30-13 drubbing in Miami, the Buffalo Bills return home to face the dangerous Tampa Bay Buccaneers. With the New England Patriots two games ahead of the Bills in the AFC East, the Bills can’t afford to lose this game…it could cost them a Playoff berth. Although Vegas has the Bills as a 5 1/2 point favorite, I’m not that confident.

How will your favor NFL team do today?

After a surprise win (frankly, this season, any win is a surprise) last week, the 2-8 Saints now have a merciful bye-week, during which they will either regroup and focus on the fundamentals that will give them a fighting chance to win the rest of their games OR run a bunch of sloppy drills, make no effort to learn new plays/formations, and ride out the rest of the season pinning their hopes on next season’s high draft pick. Guess which one my money’s on?

The Giants fired their coach and lost their starting quarterback to concussion protocol. Neither will help them beat the Packers today. Perhaps the latter will be overconfident?

It’s 3 hrs to kickoff and I’ll be glued to the Bills game. And best of luck to them! Bill’s fate is a of more concern to me than the Niners game later, since they’re done for the post-season. However, will be interesting to see how Turftoe Purdy fares returning to the lineup.

Art, the Bills find themselves chasing the surprising New England Patriots. Today, I’m hoping the combination of falling temperatures and high wind conditions throw the Buccaneers off and help the Bills win. The Bills then have to face the Houston Texans on Thursday Night Football this week.

It’s halftime at the Bills game as I write this and if they keep screwing up, they’ll lose! As for the Seahawks, we need an all-out effort and no bad playing to have a win! Maybe the recent passing of Kenny Easley will give them a Gipper style inspiration!

Bob, the Buffalo Bills finally got their act together in the Second Half and defeated the Bucs 44-32. With the high winds, I thought both teams would struggle to score. Wrong!
