THE FINAL FOUR 2018 (TBS)

I’ll be watching the Final Four tonight. This year’s March Madness games featured plenty of drama and upsets. In the first game, Michigan is favored by 5 1/2 points over Loyola. In the second game, Villanova is favored by 5 points over Kansas. Right now, I’m rooting for Michigan and Villanova to meet for the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship on Monday night. Who are you rooting for? Who do you think will win the Championship?

I’m rooting for Villanova, followed by Michigan too, but I have no clue who will prevail. I’m bummed that the U Conn women lost for the second straight year on a last second overtime shot.

I picked Villanova to win before the tournament started…and I’m the last one standing in our family’s informal bracket!

I’ll be rooting for the underdog Loyola, but I expect Michigan to beat them, and I expect Villanova, a favorite from early in the tournament, to win today and Monday.

By the way, I’m so glad I’m in the Pacific Time Zone so we can watch these games at – for us – reasonable times! I don’t know how people in the east coast can stay up so late, say on Sunday night, and then go to work in the morning…

I’m torn between rooting for my home state (Kansas) or Villanova and Sister Jean. The only basket ball team I really care about (NBA) is the Warriors, as I admire Steph Curry. (Saw him talking on Colbert about his posse AKA his wife and kids)

Maggie, at this point, I love the quality of all these basketball teams. We’re in Ohio for Easter visiting Diane’s sister. Just watched LeBron beat the New Orleans Pelicans last night and break Michael Jordan’s point streak (867 games of 10+ points)! Justin Timberlake was at the game, too!

Well nuts. The first half was great, but why on earth couldn’t Loyola shot ANY 3-pointers? Or much of anything else during the last ten minutes. I expect the winner of the second game (probably Villanova) to whip Michigan.

Okay, I just checked and Kansas has already lost! I told you I was the kiss of death for any team!
