Tonight’s NCAA Men’s Basketball championship features two very good teams. North Carolina is a 2-point favorite over feisty Villanova. The 2016 Tournament provided plenty of entertainment. This Championship game should be go down to the final buzzer. My head says North Carolina but my heart says Villanova. So I’m picking Villanova to defeat the favored North Carolina team. Who do you think will win?
Rooting for VIllanova but not enough to watch the game.
Patti, SPRING BREAK is over so tonight is a “School Night.” I’ll be in bed by 9 P.M. Plus, there’s snow in the forecast so the drive to work tomorrow could be treacherous.
What Patti said. I’ll check in a couple of times. Definitely hoping Villanova can keep it going for one more game.
Any snow was well north of us here, as we just had rain. It was enough to postpone the Yankees-Astros opening game until tomorrow. Tomorrow is supposed to be the coldest day of a much colder than normal week, though again any snow will be well north of us.
Maybe it’s time to think retirement again, George.
Jeff, I just snowblowed my driveway and sidewalks. I wanted to run the gas out of my snowblower so I went up and down the street clearing everybody’s sidewalk. Still a little gas left but we’re supposed to get more snow later this week so I’ll wait a few days before I get Big Orange ready for the Off Season.
Big Orange to the rescue. I’m sure your neighbors appreciated your efforts.
I have no interest in the tournament and probably won’t even read of the winner in the paper.
Since the Chargers have behaved so badly to the city, I’m even losing interest in football, though I do love the Packers.
Maggie, the NFL Draft is just around the corner. The Bills need about 10 First Round picks to be competitive next season.
Maggie, root for the team, not the owner. They still need your support.
i like the players, but hate the spanos family. The way the team treated eric weddle was outrageous. The team was willing to pay big to go to LA, but now pay the same money for a stadium here. Let em go! I wish 13 years ago the city had given them the stadium property and they could have had a state of the art stadium long ago.
I’ll be watching the game (comes on earlier here, of course, and rooting for ‘Nova.
Rick, the headline in our local paper Sunday read: SUPER NOVA STUNS SOONERS. Love it! Hope Super Nova melts the North Carolina defense!
While you’re getting snow, it’s just drizzly here. We’re stimulating the economy by having a new fence installed today-tomorrow.
Rick, a new fence is always an improvement of your property. The U.S. economy thanks you!
Wow, what a finish!
Rick, you’re right. Villanova and North Carolina played a classic game that will be remembered for decades!
