I’m a Hall & Oates fan so of course this concert Blu-ray was a must-buy. I enjoyed the concert footage. Most of their hits are here. There’s also a 2-CD/DVD box set of this concert available. I sent the box set to my sister in Florida who has seen Hall & Oates in concert twice and is a bigger fan of H&O than I am. If you’re looking for an entertaining concert video, you’ll find it here. This is a group I haven’t listened to in many years. Will see if my library has it.
Patti, I’m not a big fan of concert videos but LIVE IN DUBLIN is pretty good.
I think your commentary got cut off, George. Anyway, while I like H&O, I think the two-CD greatest hits collection that I already have will be sufficient.
Deb, the sound on this Blu-ray is very good. I own that GREATEST HITS package, too!
Ditto, Deb.
We’ve seen them in concert on a bill with Michael McDonald and the Average White Band. I’d say I like a lot of their songs but Jackie is definitely a bigger fan than I am.
Jeff, I like John Oates more than Hall.
I’m not one for concert videos, so this would be a skip for me, plus I only recognize one song from the list. Not to mention I have five (count ’em 5) library books sitting here with the clock running on them…no time to watch anything.
Of course Jeff has 3 times that many library books, also on the clock.
Rick, John Oates’ celebrates a Birthday today. He turned 66.
