The 4-5 Buffalo Bills emerge from their Bye Week with a daunting challenge before them: win 6 of their remaining 7 games and reach the Playoffs. If the Bills are going to pull off this miracle, they need to start today. The Bengals lost on Monday Night Football to the Giants. They are beaten up and tired. The Bills have had two weeks to get ready for this game. A loss would pretty much end the Bills’s season (if it isn’t over already). How will your favorite NFL team fare today?
The Bills gave the Seahawks a pretty good tussle. I hope they win even though I like the Bengals! We face the hated Eagles and it might be tough, although the ‘Hawks seem to be on the ascendant lately.
Please replace question mark in my comment with one of these–!
Thank you and good night.
Bob, I made the adjustment you requested.
After two heartbreaking losses–both in the last seconds of the game–in less than a week, the now 4-6 Saints aren’t playing today (having played on Thursday–one of the aforementioned losses). Despite a good offense that keeps them in games, the Saints defense is porous and gives up points in the double digits in every game. I’m sure my husband will have various games on the tv today, but if the Saints aren’t playing, I’ll be doing laundry, reading, and luxuriating in the fact that I have all of this week off work!
Deb, enjoy your week of luxuriating!
The Texans will get clobbered by the Raiders tomorrow night. Dallas has to lose sometime, and it might be today against the Ravens.
Bill, I’m amazed that the Cowboys have NEVER beaten the Ravens!
Go Seahawks! Go Ravens! Go whoever is playing the Redskins! (It’s Green Bay.) No one helped the Giants last weekend, but maybe today.
The Giants should (must) beat the Bears this afternoon. It is back to real football weather – low 40s at game time and the howling winds that can make playing at the Meadowlands a real challenge. If they want to stay in sight of the Cowboys they need to keep winning, and the Bears are certainly beatable. The defense is finally coming around.
Jeff, Green Bay seems to have fallen apart. What is wrong with Aaron Rodgers?
if you read the gossipy stuff, he hasn’t been associating with his family due to his girlfriend. Not sure what more was said as I just saw the headline and didn’t care to click on the link
Maggie, it’s hard to keep up with all the gossipy stuff.
I don’t know, I guess that’s why they play the games. I haven’t been following the standings so I don’t know what’s going on with that, either.
Rick, the NFL is awash in mediocrity except for the astonishing Dallas Cowboys and their rookie QB phenom!
I’d hardly call New England mediocre, nor the Chiefs or Raiders. In the NFC, it seems to be Dallas above the rest, but then they have stayed injury free. I’ve never been much of a Dallas fan, going back to Dallas-San Francisco days.
Rick, the Cowboys are 9-1 and not too many NFL teams are close. The Buffalo Bills are a mediocre 5-5.
Right now I’d say Dallas followed by New England.
Maggie, I read the same about Rodgers.
Aaron Rodgers’s family issues.
Olivia Munn is HOT!
Congratulations, George. The Bills aren’t dead yet.
After a horrible first half, the Giants held off the pathetic Bears, 22-16.
Jeff, the Bills need to “run the table” in order to make the Playoffs. Very unlikely!
Seahawks win, and it was a pretty interesting game (I only saw the 2nd half, but still). Wilson catches a TD pass, whoa. But they lost a running back, at least for a week. Too bad they just let one go. Oops. Next week, Tampa Bay.
Rick, I think the Seahawks are peaking at just the Right Time!
