BUFFALO BILLS BYE WEEK

After the “Hail Murray” play that ended the Arizona Cardinals game last Sunday with a bitter defeat for the Buffalo Bills, the Bills needed the Bye Week to heal and regroup for the last six games of the NFL regular season. When the Bills play the LA Chargers next Sunday, there could be snow in the forecast. How will your favorite NFL perform today?

Great! Another guaranteed non-loss for the Giants! OK, you guessed it. Like the Bills, the Giants are off this week. The Chargers are hosting the winless Jets, who are on track to be the third (?) ever 0-16 team, barring a surprise win.

I knew that nice weather was too good to last! We had a beautiful day yesterday – sunny and 64 – but the rain and colder temperatures are coming late this afternoon.

Jeff, the forecasts for Thanksgiving Week tend to be mild for late November. But, I’ve already started Big Orange a couple of time because I know what’s coming in December!

I’m rooting for the jets this week. Since Rivers left the chargers, there are no players I used to root for. One sports columnist calls them the judas’s, the team that used to be here and the LA lodgers. I can only hope the Spanos family loses tons of $$ due to the move.

Maggie, the Jets are a dumpster fire. It would be great if the LA Chargers lost to the Jets, but the Chargers are favorited by 10 points today!

The 7-2 Saints play the 3-6 Falcons in the Superdome today. Despite what appears to be an obvious W-L imbalance in the Saints’ favor, this will be a very interesting game. After having an awful start to their season, the Falcons have been righting their ship over the last few games. Meanwhile, Saints’ QB Drew Brees will be sitting out this game with a couple of broken ribs, courtesy of last week’s game. All-purpose player Taysum Hill will be the starting QB, with Jamies Winston as backup. What looked to be a pretty solid opportunity for the Saints to win their 8th game is instead going to be a hard-fought game.

Hopefully the Saints will win. One of the teams I like now (along with the Chiefs, Packers) I usually root for the Rams, just to make the chargers look worse

The Detroit Lions play twice this week. Today and Thanksgiving. You never know what they will do. Either blow it or win it with just seconds to go.
