BUFFALO BILLS VS. TENNESSEE TITANS POSTPONED

You just knew this had to happen in the Age of the Coronavirus: over 20 Tennessee Titans players and staff tested positive for the virus. So, the NFL in their infinite wisdom has decided to move the Buffalo Bills vs. Tennessee Titans game from Sunday, October 11 to Tuesday, October 13. But, like dominoes, that affects other games.

The Bills were supposed to play the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday, October 15. But that game has been moved to Sunday, October 18. Of course, this is all predicated on the assumption that no more Titan players test positive between now and Tuesday. If they do, then all bets are off. How will your favorite NFL do today?

Like I said last week, and the week before and the week before that…lose. The Giants will be in Dallas, but not much left of the rivalry with the hated Cowboys. The only really rivalry this season is, who is the worst team in the NFL, the Jets or the Giants.

That cheerleader looks chilly to me. Give her a jacket.

    There’s a reason/the football season/is all screwed up this year/players tested +/which caused a fuss/and raised a bit of fear/To me it’s all the same/I don’t follow the game/and wouldn’t know who to cheer.

The 2-2 Saints will take on the 1-3 Chargers in the Superdome for Monday Night Football tomorrow night. I see that some sites are saying fans will be permitted in the dome and that tickets are on sale. I wouldn’t voluntarily put myself amidst a large crowd these days, but it will be interesting to see if The Who Dat Nation shows up I n person. Meanwhile, I’ll be watching the first ALCS game today between the Rays & Astros.

Deb, if the Bills-Titans game actually gets played on Tuesday, a 1000 Bills fans plan to be in the NISSAN Stadium (Nashville is allowing about 14,000 fans into a socially distanced site). The Chargers have a rookie QB that the Saints should be able to confuse.

Rick, I think Russell Wilson solidified the NFL MVP award with this game! The Vikings have to be shaking their heads at their 1-4 record.
