DENVER BRONCOS VS. BUFFALO BILLS

After the debacle in Charlotte last Sunday, an ugly 9-3 loss to the Panthers where neither team managed to score a touchdown, the Buffalo Bills now face an even better team in the Denver Broncos. I’m mystified by Vegas making the Broncos a mere 2 1/2 point favorite over the hapless Bills. It should be more like a 14-point spread. Bills running back has made the national news by calling Donald Trump “an asshole.” How will your favorite NFL team do today?

The hapless 0-2 Saints meet the much stronger 2-0 Panthers in Charlotte today. I fully expect the Saints to be 0-3 at the end of the game. Meanwhile, I’m off to Baton Rouge to see my kids at LSU–which DID have a win last night! At least one local team is getting some W’s.

Deb, the Bills couldn’t beat the Panthers last week, but they did prevent them from scoring a TD. Moral victories are the stuff of losers, unfortunately. The Saints might be able to put up a lot of points since Cam Newton is still far from his MVP performance.

Deb, nice pictures (thanks!) and Happy Belated Birthday to John again. Have fun today. Our one trip to Baton Rouge was to eat at Mike Anderson’s after the New Orleans branch closed.

Do I have to think about this? Well, I expect the Giants (like the Saints) to be 0-3 after today’s visit to Philadelphia. I see no evidence of their offense, period. Sad.

I’m not really keeping up with the nfl, but do hope for the Packers to win. They have been my favorite team for many years. The la chargers will hopefully have no wins this year, and the rams might join them. If that happens, they should just stop building the stadium.

I hope the Saints win, if just for Drew Brees. Sorry, Jeff can’t root for the giants as long as eli is playing for them.

I think Bob is probably right, the Seahawks don’t have much offense, and the Titans are rising. I told Pete Carroll 3 years ago he needed to build a better offense line, and he didn’t listen. Now they have no run game and Russell Wilson is running for his life half the time. Bah.

The Bills win! The Bills win!

Unbelievable. The Giants put on a very impressive finish. Their task was, we have the ball with 40 seconds left and we need a field goal to win. What can we do to make sure that we not only don’t win, but give the Eagles the game so we don’t go to overtime? It was a tough assignment, but they were more than up to it, with two straight penalties, a 9 yard pass on third and 10, a shanked 28-yard punt – out of bounds no less, to help save the Eagles a few precious seconds, lousy coverage, etc.

Combined with the Jets’ wipeout of the Dolphins, there is a new Worst Team in Town.

And congratulations to the Saints too. Did I mention that the Bills won? Amazing.

you make the giants sound like the chargers. glad the packers pulled it out. I saw some upsets in the scores. only watched about 10 min of the judasses and then cbs switched to the packers, so watched them win in OT.
