May you and Diane have a glorious Fourth while staying out of the heat, George. And may America overcome its present problems and continue once again its long march to a more perfect nation for the next 250 years.
Bob, most people under the age of 50 have no idea what a socialist or communist is. And I had to laugh at Trump warning about Communists when his good pal is Putin!
As much as he can have a friend. Little Rocket Man, one of the few Leninist+ dictators still standing, seems almost his friend by his standards.
Yours for the DSA and their more libertarian fellow travelers, such as someone typing this.

And the same to you too,George?, and everyone here.
We’re going to check out the parade of tall ships as they sail past our front door up the Narrows this morning, then celebrate with the traditional – hot dogs with beans and potato salad and coleslaw slaw, plus blueberry and cherry pies (the latter for Jackie) with berries and ice cream.
We’ll have our annual re-watch of 1776 – we first saw the Broadway musical version in December of 1970 and the movie version when it opened two years later at Radio City Music Hall.
Jeff, hope you and Jackie have a Good Time watching the Tall Ships! Western NY is hot, humid, and buggy! More thunderstorms this afternoon! Diane and I are just going to hunker down…
We found a bench in the shade with a good view of the ships and the water, plus the flyover by the Blue Angels, one of the two B-29s still flying etc. After an hour we came inside. It is still hot and humid. We’ll probably get rain tonight.
Jeff, it just rained here. The Weather-guessers are predicting a series of “pop-up” showers today. We just had one, but there’s more on the radar heading our way. Stay cool! Hydrate!
Happy 4th of July, George.
Neeru, thanks for the 4th of July wishes! Sadly, the heat and humidity is high so I’m staying in the A/C all day today.
May you and Diane have a glorious Fourth while staying out of the heat, George. And may America overcome its present problems and continue once again its long march to a more perfect nation for the next 250 years.
Jerry, I agree with you. America is a long way from being a Perfect Union but hopefully the November Elections help to improve things…
By getting rid of the socialist bastards!

Jeff, we have had “pop-up” showers almost every day this week! More of the same next week!
