I’m doing ribs today, and Barbara is making potato salad, cole slaw, deviled eggs. Pretty traditional stuff. No dessert, we’re both trying to lose weight
We’re having pretty good weather, too. Low 80s, nice breeze, much lower humidity than the last couple of days, and NO RAIN. Last year was a little cooler, but it rained at night, Bad for those who love fireworks.
I just had hot dogs without buns, baked beans, and fruit salad! It’s been strangely quiet here today, but the idiots will be setting off their illegal fireworks later, when it gets dark!
Bob, fireworks used to be illegal around here, but now there’s a loophole to allow sales around the Fourth of July. And, of course, someone always gets hurt.
