Same to you! Are you cooking today? We’re going downtown to that Texas favorite, Hill Country Barbecue, where we ate last July 4th.
Jeff, we’re home bound today. Great weather! Diane’s in the mood for a Ted’s Hot Dog so I’ll make a run over to their place and stand in line. Have fun on the 4th!
Happy 4th everyone! Be Safe.
Maggie, have a safe and happy 4th!
Happy Fourth, George and Diane and everyone who tunes in here.
I’m doing ribs today, and Barbara is making potato salad, cole slaw, deviled eggs. Pretty traditional stuff. No dessert, we’re both trying to lose weight
Hold the deviled eggs, give me the ribs.
We’re having pretty good weather, too. Low 80s, nice breeze, much lower humidity than the last couple of days, and NO RAIN. Last year was a little cooler, but it rained at night, Bad for those who love fireworks.
As it turns out, Barbara has decided on corn on the cob instead of the deviled eggs.
Rick, those ribs sound good! I’ll probably go with a couple hamburgers, salad, watermelon, and chocolate ice cream for dessert.
I thought you were going for hot dogs?
I always look forward to your Holiday Posts. Now I’m going to go up on the roof & throw firecrackers at the neighbor’s dogs.
Dan, plenty of kids fire off explosives every so often. Then there’ are fireworks displays tonight. A very noisy day!
Sausage, corn on the cob and melon.
I just had hot dogs without buns, baked beans, and fruit salad! It’s been strangely quiet here today, but the idiots will be setting off their illegal fireworks later, when it gets dark!
Bob, fireworks used to be illegal around here, but now there’s a loophole to allow sales around the Fourth of July. And, of course, someone always gets hurt.
George, belated Happy 4th of July!
