Jeff, I surprised Diane and Katie by asking Russell’s Steaks, Chaps, and More (a swanky restaurant) to put a message up on their Billboard. The dinner was great! And Diane has her Ultimate Chocolate Birthday Cake to enjoy today! Katie is driving the Nissan Altima back to Boston today–good travel weather!
Beth, I did go All Out for Diane and Katie! Both of them are worth it! Katie may be back here in August for a friend’s party. But I think she will fly in and out.
Todd, I turned 77 last month and now Diane has caught up with me. Diane and I went to High School together. We worked on the Yearbook together–that’s when I first had a crush on her.
Patti, I didn’t act on my affections for Diane until 10 years later at our Class of 1967 Tenth Anniversary party. I lucked out because Diane and her long-time boyfriend had just broken up…and Diane was available!
Younger than springtime. You really lucked out, George! Wishing Diane many more years of health, happiness, and the frustrating job of keeping you in line.
I would’ve striven for that option, but no one was offering. At least I was taking a handful of A.P. courses in my senior year, which didn’t count in my credits pile in getting my BA in English.
Well, I’m tired, but that was weird. My AP exams/courses Did count toward my BA credits load. Took the AP English exam as a junior, American History, Biology and Spanish as a senior.
Maggie, Patrick started Kindergarten a year early. He could do the academic work throughout his Public School years, but sometimes there were social issues.

Re the CPAP machine:
I’ve been using one for more than 25 years – no problems at all. Though my lomg time partner found that even with the sleep cube I start to snore if I’m lying on my back, so she has to tell me:
Turn around!
Btw are you also one of those old couples that use one bed? I know that many olders have separate bedrooms – a real pity imho.
Wolf, I’ve been using my CPAP since 1995. Without it, I would be dead! My wife recently was tested and found to have “moderate” sleep apnea. She has the same CPAP that I use: RESMED Airsense 11. Great machine!

I skipped second grade. About 5 of us did. My family tried to talk my parents out of it, and at times I wish they had.

Bob, Diane had a very good Birthday today. Diane got her new RESMED Airsense 11 CPAP today. Her test results showed she has “moderate” Sleep Apnea.
