Jeff, MAD MEN and WOLF HALL begin tonight. My DVR will be busy. Notre Dame should have beaten Kentucky last week. Wisconsin played a great game!!!

Happy Easter, George. Hope you have a great day and don’t eat too many chocolate bunnies. Beautiful day here’s but we’ll have showers this afternoon, which is fine as we put in Snapdragons yesterday.

You and your DVR; how much do you have to pay every month to have it? Comcast charges $15/mo, and we just don’t want to pay that much for something we don’t think we’d use that much.

Rick, it’s snowing here. Diane and I will head for the Airport soon to meet Katie…if her flight is on-time. Our DVR service is bundled in the Time-Warner (soon to be Comcast) package. We pay $69 a month for a zillion HDTV channels.

and we pay Comcast $187 a month, for the medium channel package, no DVR, and internet (not very fast) and a land line. When your begin with Comcast, expect some “specials” for a while and then steady increases every 6 months until you reach our ridiculous level. Enjoy it while you’ve got it.

Rick, a lot of my friends have “cut the cord” with cable TV. They’re using HULU and Netflix exclusively. Comcast will have trouble keeping its subscribers as their rates go over $200 a month.

I hate Comcast and am grateful we have an alternative, although it’s a city service and now they’re talking about selling it to a private company.

Bob, I’ve heard nothing but BAD THINGS about COMCAST. They bought TIME-WARNER cable and I’m expecting their Heavy Hand to appear soon.
