As I commented on Patti’s blog this morning, I’m thankful that my sister made it through 25 years in uniform (she just retired from the Air Force), but many families have not been so fortunate. Let’s remember them today.
Diane is planning a delicious Italian meatloaf, Rick. We have plenty of veggies and watermelon and salad. Dessert will be a choice of sorbet or ice cream. We’re planning on watching a movie tonight so there might be some popcorn in our plans, too.

I agree, Deb. Plenty of service people have made huge sacrifices for all of us. We need to honor them today, and every day.
