After the 24-16 ugly win over the 0-3 LA Chargers, the lucky Buffalo Bills face the 1-2 New England Patriots who are still recovering from their 35-3 ugly loss at the hands of the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Bills are 6 point favorites but they’re confronted by a desperate team yearning for a Big Win.
How will your favorite NFL team do today?
So far, not so good. The Giants trail Arizona early in a game they need to win, but with two of their top players out for the year, does it really matter? It’s a cool, dreary day with light rain at the moment, a lousy day for the Third Avenue Festival but better than last Sunday would have been, what with the nor’easter.
We’re staying home. Jackie got a positive report from the surgeon on Friday, and she was able to take a shower today, so all good.
Jeff, glad things are go well for Jackie! And, things went well for the Giants, too. The Bills again committed a turnover to lose to the Patriots.
Further well-wishing! I’m just at the stage of Don’t Scrub, but you can wash directly, the surgical scabs.
Todd, you’re making Progress!
Tuned in late but on time for the freak turnover and 3 point gift at the end of the half. Way to go Bills!
Art, glad the 49ers won. The Bills face the Rams next Monday night.
Seahawks don’t start for an hour! I watched the Bills game until halftime, then took a shower! I probably won’t see the rest!
Bob, you aren’t missing anything! The Bills lost their Half-Time lead and lost 29-26.
I saw the final score, and it surprised me! Too bad!
Bob, the Bills had the lead in the game against the Patriots…then let it slip away.
Well that was a surprise. After being down early 14-3, the Giants won 36-24. And the Bills blew another lead to the Patriots.
Bummer.
Jeff, the Bills need to clean up their sloppy play.
The 1-2 Saints host the 1-2 Falcons tomorrow night on Monday Night Football. It’s the 20th anniversary of the “Dome-coming”—the first game at the Super Dome after Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans the year before. Should be an emotional pre-game show.
Deb, I’ll be rooting for the Saints!
Well, the Seahawks won, but they played a weak fourth quarter!
On the upside also, I had my catheter removed after 16 days of misery, on Friday! The next day I went to the Emerald Queen and won $500!
Bob, obviously being catheter-free brings you Good Luck!
It certainly brought me relief!
