I hope the Bills win! I always cheer for teams playing against Seahawk division rivals! I’m really hoping the Seahawks trounce the hated 49ers!

It was a travesty! The 49ers final drive feasted on the ineptitude of Seattle’s #29, Jobe! In the words of Captain Binghampton, I could just scream!

Bob, I thought the Seahawks were going to win this game…but that “out of bounds” play short of the First Down line doomed them.

The 4-0 Vikings take on the 1-3 Saints in the Super Dome today in what will undoubtedly be a “right drubbing” (as the English say) for the Boys in Black & Gold. Five games into the season, and the Saints already look like a lost ship. However, I’ll be focusing my fandom on the first game of the Dodgers-Brewers National League Championship Series later today. Much as I love my Dodgers, I honestly feel that this is the Brewers’ year—but either way, it should be an exciting series, and I’ll be watching until the last out is recorded.

I’d like to see a Milwaukee-Tampa Bay World Series, as they are among the few teams who have never won it, with San Diego, Colorado and Seattle, the only team who has never made it to the Series.

But Cleveland last won it in 1948, so that would be fine too.

This year my mantra is anyone but the Dodgers (sorry, Deb), even more than it usually is.

The surprising – to say the least – 3-1 Giants have a tough division matchup in the rain and wind of Washington, where the home team is 1-3 and will be desperate to win. Daniels will be back at quarterback so it will be imperative for the Giants to keep up the defense that has been winning for them, especially when Washington blitzes more than any other team. They’ve never beaten Daniels and they have a lousy record against Washington, but they did beat Dallas, and Harbaugh has been stressing the importance of division wins.

I still wouldn’t bet on them.

Definitely worth seeing. We were there 50 years ago.

The Giants are not getting it done again, which is a shame since the Eagles lost in London.

Jeff, Diane and I caught the end of the Giants vs. Commanders game! What a fiasco! That has to be the worst Clock Management in a decade!
