TEACHER OF THE YEAR!

Superman1
Tonight I’ll be attending the yearly Student Government Association’s Awards Banquet at the Millennium Hotel. I’ll be receiving a “Teacher of the Year” award from my students. I’m not much for awards, but this one has a special meaning. It’s not being bestowed by administrators or colleagues. The students I teach chose to honor me with this award. It’s occasions like this that make me glad I’m a teacher.

Having read your writing for a few decades now, and knowing you as a man who combines perspicacity, perspicuity and sheer razz-ma-tazz, I’m not surprised.

    Congratulations, George!

It’s nice to see your commitment to education recognized by the very folks who reap its benefits.

Well, congratulations, George! Well done. Maybe it’s those sexy handouts, or the stock tips, but probably it’s because they know you love them by the number of tests and papers you assign.

Rick, I’ve found out that getting the tests and papers corrected quickly and back to the students scores a lot of points with them.

Congratulation, Dr Kelley! As someone who has taken two of your classes, I can verify that the award is certainly well deserved!
