THE LEGO MOVIE [3D]

When I asked my wife what she wanted for Valentine’s Day, she relied: “I want to see The LEGO Movie. So we went to an AMC theater about 10 minutes away. At 10:45 A.M. not many people were in the theater: eight adults and five children including us. The plot of The LEGO Movie is fairly straight-forward: An ordinary LEGO construction figure named Emmet is recruited to join a quest to stop the evil LEGO tyrant–President Business–from threatening the Universe. Batman (voiced by Will Arnett) steals every scene he’s in. As with most of these animated movies, there’s a kid level and an adult level. There are plenty of liens kids won’t “get” but the adults will…and they’ll laugh. If you’re looking for some silly fun, go see The LEGO movie! GRADE: B+

Jeff, my blog was down and we had some power outages. I don’t know if the two events are connected. Our natural gas stand-by generator started up last night moments after we were plunged into darkness. It ran for over two hours until the power returned. We were nice an warm while our whole neighborhood went black. It was weird being the only house on our street with lights. I was working on my blog when the lights went off. Later, I couldn’t logon to my blog. That seems to have resolved itself. I finished the posting and included my grade.

It’s good to have your own generator. Like Big Orange it came in handy this awful winter.

We had ham on our pizza today. Unlike most places, Grimaldi’s chops their ham up into little chunks. It was pretty good. And in a huge house salad (with a lot of mushrooms) and it was a pretty filling lunch.
