What a hear, huh. Outside of personal worsts, this has to be the worst year I remember. I knew he would be bad but I had no idea just how bad. I might have to pick this one up.

I may look at it but do I want to read a whole book reminding me of how he’s dragged this whole country into the gutter and destroyed our credibility around the world? Probably not.

By coincidence, we started rewatching THE WEST WING from the Pilot last night, and seeing a “real” President and how a “real” White House is meant to run, just brought back again how much we have all lost.

    Sad.

I agree, Jeff. I think audio might be much easier. I checked with our library, and they only have it in book form,, so I’m 14th for 8 copies with most of the 8 not yet picked up. One is due on the 12th.

If it wasn’t so scary I’d be laughing at the human Cheese Whiz himself. This might be a good substitute.

Neither my county library system nor that of the county next door owns this one. Bummer.

Jerry, I had to request the purchase YOU CAN’T SPELL AMERICA WITHOUT ME from my public library. I think many libraries are avoiding buying anything “political.”

The Brooklyn Public Library has multiple formats, including ebooks and audio books. My local branch supposedly has a copy on the shelf. I will check after dropping Jackie at the doctor.

Jeff, the Brooklyn Library is the Cadillac of libraries! I have a friend to lives across the border in Canada and his local library didn’t have any of Louise Penny books. He had to beg them to order a couple.

I won’t buy it or even read it – we’re constantly flooded with Trump news here in Europe, enough for me!
I want to read something positive – like British Prince Harry wanting to marry an American woman with a mixed race background! 🙂

And I also found nice pictures of the frozen Niagara Falls – reminding us of our holiday there some years ago …

wolf, In the US most intelligent people have had it with the tRUMP news. We have to continue to protest and fight back, otherwise the GOP (Gross Old Perverts/Poops) will run roughshod over the constitution and perhaps enslave anyone with a new worth of less than a million bucks (the later is outrageous, but then so was electing a orange man who admitted to grabbing a woman by her genitals, disrespected a gold star family (when he got multiple deferments including for bone spurs) and mocked a disabled reporter as well as declared bankruptcy multiple times, stiffing people who did work for him, the list goes on. )

I just read an article where 70% of the countries population only have 30% of the electoral votes. Time for a change.

I hold anyone who voted for trump in contempt and even though I wasn’t a fan of hillary, she would have been a million times better than this imbecile in the white house. Anyone who didn’t vote for Hillary should be held somewhat responsible as well.

Seven counties in California account for Hitlery’s popular vote edge. The Electoral College was created to prevent one state from owning the election. Without it, Kennedy would never have gotten in office.

Bob, I agree with you on the rationale for the Electoral College. Without it, presidential candidates would only campaign in the Big States and ignore all the little ones. But when the popular vote doesn’t agree with the Electoral College vote, there’s always trouble.
