I agree with you, Patti. HOMICIDE was one of the best shows ever. And this complete package features almost 100 hours of great programming. Have Phil buy it for you as an early Christmas present!

Absolutely. Loved the show. We once went to Munch’s bar in Fells Point with Jeff & Ann Smith that was across the street from the building they used as the headquarters and I still have the T-shirt I bought there. We saw them film a scene of a couple of the cops (Bayliss was one) walking into headquarters.

I know Jeff & Ann used to tell HOMICIDE stories at our BOUCHERCON get-togethers, Jeff. At the time, HOMICIDE was the best program on TV.

My late friend Tudy Daniels, who was a retired LA cop, told me that the first year of this series was the closest to what it is really like to be a cop. Tudy was an interesting person – as a teenager in Hollywood she and her friends would go to sneak peeks of many Hollywood movies, one of which was Singing In The Rain.

I agree with your friend, Tudy, Stan. The first season of HOMICIDE is very realistic. I thought the series managed to keep the quality high all through 122 episodes.

HOMICIDE was a great TV series. I watched it and and then watched it again on the reruns. I have an earlier box set and plan to see it again. Considering it appeared on network TV, it was of very high quality.
