BUFFALO BILLS VS. TENNESSEE TITANS

With over 20 Tennessee Titan players testing positive for Covid-19, it’s astonishing this game is going to be played at all. The Buffalo Bills started out as 3-point favorites, but as the Covid-19 List of the Titans grew, the point spread swelled to 8 points. I don’t have a lot of confidence about this game. The Titans are down several starters because of their infection. The Bills are down a number of players because of their injuries. And, looming on the horizon for next week for the Bills is the Kansas City Chiefs. Tough schedule!

To play this game at all right now is the height of reckless irresponsibility…as if postponing it three days was going to make a difference. I feel bad for all the Bills players who currently don’t have covid now having to be exposed to the virus. Sheer insanity! [Insert eye-roll emoji here.]

Deb, I wonder how long the NFL can hold this season together with Baling Twine and duct tape. Congratulations on the Saints pulling off a win in Overtime!

As you know, George, I’m not a follower of football, but don’t the Titans have only two non-Covid players they can field? Three, if you count the waterboy? Four, maybe, if they draft the hot dog seller? Should be a romp for the Bills.

Jerry, I like your logic, but I suspect the frustrated Titans–who haven’t played an NFL game in two weeks–will come out ready to punch the Bills in the mouth. I’m looking for a physical game.
